Updates

Granddad has been spending a lot of time helping us out the last couple of months, we really couldn't have made it without him. Here he is swimming with the girls. Emmie has been doing great at swim, she has finally started turning over to catch her breath but she still spends a lot of time underwater (she swims under water like her uncle Scott). Kyra loves the water including the pool.

I went to check on Emmie one evening when she was watching her show before bed, well she'd gone outside and gotten Kyra's swim turtle - this is what I found...

The newest Hanvey - he's a good boy with alot of energy. He loves Kyra and she loves to feed him, her food. I'm a little surprised she likes to feed him given that kid is always hungry you'd think she wouldn't want to share. He definetly favors Chris

Visit to Granny's

I had to be in London for work this week so I flew in a day early to take my Granny to dinner. Michael, Lisa, Granny and I had a short but nice visit. Weather has been amazingly good for the UK, no rain and sun every day - still cold but at least it's not snowing and raining.




Apparent Michael claims he's unable to keep his eyes open so this is the best picture we could get.

Hank

Meet Hank, he's a lab mix about 1 1/2 years old, loves to chew on anything you let him have and loves to chase balls. He's a sweet guy who thinks he fits in your lap. He is now an official member of the Hanvey family and like any good Hanvey dog is already starting to cost us money by going to obedience training (this time before any damage to our furniture). He is set to finish his initial round of training in two weeks, we can't wait to get him back home. Kyra adores him - she gets so excited to see him, I'll get some video when he's back home. Thanks to Ellan and Linda for helping us find Hank!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

We celebrated Kyra's 1st Christmas with her crawling...yes she's mobile so life is about to get even crazier - I don't know how but we will manage. Emmie has no idea that Christmas and Birthdays are not a week of her getting gifts and parties for her. Even on Christmas she asked if the party was for her. Our house looks like Toys R Us emptied a big truck in it. So all in all I'd say the we all enjoyed ourselves.

Birthday Week

On Wednesday Emmie will turn 3 ~ I can't believe she's growing up so fast. We had her birthday party this weekend (I will post pictures later) and as always she bounced her little heart out. On Sunday Lala and Ellan took her and a few other kidos to go see the Christmas show at Second Baptist and today she got her first car. I wish I was three!!! Considering how spoiled she is she's actually a pretty sweet little girl. Little miss Kyra is doing good too, she wanted to ride with her big sis this morning. We are very blessed and lucky to have them both!

Just for Fun

It's been a while since we posted pictures so here are a few we took today to catch up. Kyra is already 6 months and Emmie turns 3 in a couple of months. Kyra can alomost sit up on her own and is starting to figure out how to go backward in her walker. Emmie loves going to preschool and is learning a lot.
